Again airtel showed their colors. Undoubtly, they don’t stand anywhere as an Internet service provider. Reliance, Tata Photon, Vodafone or even MTNL Internet services are far better than them.
I bought a 3G dongle+ 3 months 5GB plan for 3100/- from Bharti Airtel retail store in Lajpat Nagar. They said no hidden charges for next 3 months, still they issued a bill and sent it to me.
The connection just worked for first few days with the not even 2G speed.
Even after complaining twice in their store nothing worked. After 20 days of purchase, it stopped working completely. Technical support asked me to go to the store again and complain there.
Airtel store in Lajpat Nagar, has a group of amateurish staff(Mr. Wajid and Ms. Suneet are the clear examples), a bunch of unprofessional. They don’t know what’s going on; they don’t know what to do.
They sit with hands relaxing at the back of their heads, shaking their foot and giggling in front of the customer, their attitude was like, "you bought airtel now just deal with it”. They didn’t leave me with any option.
I asked for refund, they said Store Manager is on leave so they can’t do anything. Reason for disconnection according to them was incomplete address given for physical verification. Interestingly, I could receive the bill at the same address sent by them but they couldn’t verify my address.
Because the address was absolutely complete, somebody didn’t do their job correctly, you have to move your a* for address verification, you can’t just make up stories sitting on your chairs and give fake reasons.
Requesting all my friends and whoever is reading this, spare yourself from the horror of AIRTEL HARRASMENT. I can’t go everyday to their store and request them to make my connection work.
Don’t waste your money& time on them. Trust me MTNL, is much better than them in-spite of being a government company.
