I had airtel DTH, and it used to fail to receive signal very frequently. Everytime I make a call to customer care:
1) Long queue to talk to customer care
2) Executive will accept the complaint and will agree to fix the problem at no cost
3) Site engineer will never visit the home till you keep on calling customer care for 5-6 days
4) your TV will be dead for a week(at least)
5) After a week Site engineer will visit and he will charge Rs. 100/- visiting charge(thoug it was told free)
6) Even for small components like plug, cable joints he will charge Rs. 150/-
7) you will lose signal again within a month
8) No refund of rental charges for the downtime period.
