There are lots of DTH services in India like Airtel Digital TV, Reliance Big TV, Tata Sky, Dish TV, Sun Direct, Videocon D2H etc and many more. I am using airtel digital tv of these. I am not saying that airtel digital tv is the best among all and all others are inferior to it. I am here to say about the good and bad things related to airtel from my 4 years of using experience.
Pros:
Some of the good things I found on airtel dth are-
1) Its channels with perfect picture and clear sound. Picture quality is so good on any television.
2) To take a connection of airtel digital tv you don’t have to spend a big amount of money. It costs about 1500 Rs only.
3) It provides a lots of channels like entertainment, movie, adventure, music, devotional, sports, news and lots of regional channels.
4) You can upgrade to HD at a very less cost at about Rs 599.
5) 24×7 customer care service.
Cons:
It has many disadvantages like-
1) Monthly rental is comparatively somewhat high. It should be decreased by a few amount.
2) Airtel has too many unnecessary channels which are in no need of us. So these channels should be removed by airtel group and be replaced by more important and entertaining channels.
3) Some free-air-channels should be added such that customers can watch them when their accounts are suspended due to insufficient balance.
