I am using airtel mobile connection for more than 5 years and mobile customer care was good. By keeping this I opt for Airtel DTH connection. I didnt face any problem getting connection. But faced lots of problem during adding and removing channel.
First of all customer care people didnt know average English to reply customer queries. Most of the time when I am talking to custom care, the line disconnects automatically. After that no one from customer care will contact you back. Without any information to customers, they are increasing the monthly charges and also their only aim to get more money for customer. I will tell you two scenario.
Before world cup tournament, they offered "STAR CRICKET" channel for Rs.20. But after world cup matches started, they removed this option and provided "STAR CRICKET, ESPN, START SPORTS" channels for Rs.100 for three months.
Before IPL matches, they offered "SET MAX" channel for Rs. 20 for one month. But they provide option for three month packages where you have to pay Rs.55. No more single month option.
Like these airtel dth are doing so many things to get money from customers.
