Iam using Airtel DTH service for more than two years and iam not happy with the customer service and recharge offers with them. I bought an HD setup box and after just six months it got damaged and no warranty coverage was given to me and I was again charged rs 1699 for installation. The most frustrating part is the Signal reception is very weak and I always receive error when there is a slight drizzle in the climate. There is always a flicker in my picture quality and each time I am being charged a fee of rs150 for any of these issues. They change the tariff part very frequently and within five months my South value sports pack tariff was changed from rs270 to rs315. The customer service is not responding properly for scheduling any issues in the setup box and the service engineer is not addressing the issue for picture quality. For instance I have called the customer care for poor signal reception and the engineer comes to my house after seven days but they have mentioned the TAT as 24 hours. They have changed the Tariff from south value sports to south economy sports with an monthly rental of rs380 without my knowledge and again I have to call the customer service to reverse it back. My suggestion would be not to use Airtel DTH TV any more and look for some other operators because of the poor customer service, picture quality and tariff charges.
