I have been using Airtel Dish for the past 2 years and I have had great experience. My set top box was SD and now I upgraded to HD for just Rs. 500. I did not want a hell lot of channels so I opted for A-La-Carte pack where I selected few of my favorite channels. This option was not available on Tata Sky, Dish TV. Videocon packs were a bit expensive, so I settled for Airtel.
The picture and sound quality is amazing. I haven’t faced any signal loss during any live broadcast. On HD, live cricket and football matches look stunning. You get an immersive viewing experience. Just make sure you have a HDTV. Even you can select few of the HD channels on your own. The rates are not so expensive. Your minimum package should be of Rs. 150 and service tax extra. All the latest sports channels are available including Kix. Leading news, entertainment and regional channels are available.
You can change your pack as per your wish. Half yearly and annual packs are also available and time to time there are discounts. Further, you can order movies and few games are available for children. Payment is very hassle free. You can topup from retailer or from online recharge sites. Overall, I am quite satisfied. If you are looking for small packs then Airtel would be the best. You can also consider Videocon DTH as it too provides great image quality.
