I had ordered for Airtel DTH HD Rec after seeing its one full blown up page adver in a leading daily. My Customer ID - 3012199750. The response while assisting me in completing the order was swift. I thought this is a fantastic way of getting things done, but I was for a rude shock..The DTH box even after a week post order never got delivered to me, worst there was not even a call from them appraising me of the status of installation. The most irritating part is the customer call centre is pathetic & the people out there are helpless, they just keep putting you to different people kicking you like a football & end result a big ZERO. Either you end up saying the whole story to all these helpless/useless junk of people or the calls get disconnected...
Airtel being, a telecommunication major is unable to set its call centre in order! This was not expected out of Airtel at all...If it cant handle the installations/delivery in said TAT (Being 48hrs as committed by them) then you should accept any new orders until all earlier are delivered isn’t it? Readers......
Beware of new Airtel DTH connection, better buy it with a proven brand in this segment or take a written commitment from Airtel (Which they will not) if you want).
