I booked Airtel DTH online by making instant payment and thought it would be installed next day, or max in 2 days. But I kept calling for installation for 7 days, from morning to evening, no body turned out for installation, but gave only promises that next day it would be installed.
And then at last it was installed, but mechanics who installed asked me to pay for installation, which I supposed to have paid already. Anyway, I did not pay as I told them to take back everything, as I was furious for so much delay.
I thought Airtel is a global player and have high service standards. But it is still old mentality DESI service provider company does not care about customers once money is paid. Call center executives are also unable to resolve issues.
Today, Govt company MNTL has better service resolving problems very same day. But Airtel is all about making money by fooling customers; only Airtel ads are expensive but real delivery system is so pathetic.
I wish for more competition in market so that companies like Airtel learn their lessons.
