Customers are taken for granted by Airtel

After activating the services from Airtel Digital TV, the set-top box stop functioning after an year and had to replace that with an old box for which they charged me with Rs 350. Then again after 8 months it again stopped functioning and I complained regarding this one and they took 1 week to respond back. They sent a service personnal and he checked and said the box was faulty which we already knew about. He said that the box is not available right now and I need to wait for sometime till the device is made available.


There was no call from their end, I had to take the pain to call them to check the box availability. After 2 months after tons of calls they sent out a device which was still an old box with 6 months warranty. The replacement box was even more worse than the previous one.


I again called the customer service and demanded an explanation for this situation. The lady who attended out call disconnected the call saying, ThankYou for calling Airtel .


This is the worst service I have ever experienced. They have not yet responded to my problem and if this continues for another week I will terminate their service and claim compensation.
