I am Software Engineer by profession, I faced a unusual problem with Airtel postpaid connection.
One fine day I got a call from Airtel customer care stating to pay the bill, I thought they are talking about my number. I paid the bill 754/- rs and later in the evening I again I got confirmation call, there they ask me to clear the old dues of 8500/- which I didnt make that much of call, later in the telephonic conversation I came to know that one of my ex-Colleague has to pay the bill of 8500/- rs and these recovery called me because my ex-colleague had called me numerous time from his number.
I mean do you think I need to pay the bill. The call was from Recovery team of Airtel where they hired some local Gundas to recover the money. The way spoke was ridiculous and used abusing words. Is this the right was these Airtel guys are doing.
Please suggest what I need to do.
