Network- airtel is mostly known for its network coverage and it has a good network coverage in most places of india not all over the india as when I was in goa some days before the phone went in emergency calls only in my flat. It had hardly 1 signal strength else it would be in emergency calls only.Customer service- My experiency with airtel is very bad as I have been cheated by airtel in many cases. The customer representative are not that helpful . They just tell you what they get to see on their computer and ask you for proof when you make a complain.Charges and billing- I was cheated for the first time by airtel when I was using internet and I had 30rs balance left in my mobile. By the time I turned off the data it showed no balance left and still 30-40 mb of data was left in use and still my money got deducted. I called thw cuatomer care and the representative had a talk with me and he said that it was wrong deducting the balance and he noted down my complain and said that I will be getting my refund in 2 days but I didnt got my refund. I called them again after 2 dats and I got shock after talking to the customer representative as he was denying my refund and said that deduction of my balance was done due to extreme data usage and as I told earlier there was still 30-40 mb left when all of my balance was deducted and I further had a talk with the senior person also but he was rude on call and didnt help too.2nd time I was cheated when I made a recharge of rs 399 which was to provide me 1gb/day and unlimited calling for 56 days. I had to recharge my data account and therefore I opened My airtel app . Under my best offers setion there were some offers of which 2 offers were of use to me . One was a 349rs recharge in which they provided 1gb/day and unlimited calls for 28 days and earlier that month I had made that recharge only and there was a 2nd useful offer which provided the same plan for 399rs but the validity was for 56 days so I found it useful that by paying 50rs extra I am getting my validity double and made the recharge. After completion of 1gb data my data never got renewed so I called the customer care team to ask them the problem and they said that soery sir the plan you chose was a 1gb/28days and unlimited calls for 28 days. I was shocked and felt cheated . It was a clear cheat and I told them that I am not a fool that I qould leave a better plan by paying 50rs less and get 1gb/day for 28 days rather than going for 1gb/28 days but they did not listen to me. I sent them the recharge bill but they did not help me at all. I had not taken a snapshot before making the recharge else I would have dragged airtel in consumer court for thia cheat.
