I had been Airtel Customer for last 3 years since I got 18 year old. Its network was just awesome and comparable at that time but recently I have ported my number to Vodafone Service, It was hard for me to leave Airtel but they left me with no choice. They had suspended 3G connection for about 1 year 7 months. I was still offered 3G connection from Vodafone but in last 3 months I have been stuck with EDGE(2G).
Now a 2G connection in the year 2013 with iPhone 5 is a total disaster. I can’t video chat, Skype, stream HD off youtube, etc. I was actually using it only for Whatsapp that to no videos downloads.

Internet Recharge - Airtel Rs.149 for 30 days, 1GB, 2G with 20kbps Vodafone Rs.251 for 30 days, 1GB 3G with 600-750kbps.
Basic Internet Pack - Airtel Rs.98 for 20 DAYS only with 2G, 500MB Vodafone Rs 103 for 30 days with 3G, 300MB.
Customer Care - Airtel 4 out of 10 Vodafone 7 out of 10.
