I have been victim of poor coverage along with pathetic service for over 1 of my connections with Airtel. However to my surprise they have exceed in ability to cheat by overbilling my bill dated 6th march.
1) One single call of over Rs.1100. I have made no such calls and repeated reminders to reverse the said amount was not responded.
2) I have further gone ahead and obtained incoming call statement with durations of time for the call they claim I have made. The statement was obtained from the new jersey based telecommunications company ALVOICE.
3) Even incoming call shows maximum durations of 2 minutes only for the my call made to that number.
4)My argument is if I have made call, some body should have received it. In this case there was no such call received.
5) Because I had argued on wrong billing. They disconnected my connections without even due date getting over.
6) After writing complaints to nodal officers and customer care, they refuse to believe valid documentary evidence and accept that there was problem at there end.
My worry is there could be lakhs of consumers like me who may be overlooking such things because of small value of money in dispute. However, my area of concern is possibility of manual interventions in billing and result of such wrong calls in billing.
There could be more to it which DOT or TRIA can understand .
Almost 25 days pillar to post but no solutions in site.
Thanks and regards,
