As already written in my review of the Panasonic EB-GD 75, I took a mobile connection for the first time on 03/10/2002, under the Airtel Delhi prepaid scheme, Magic.Their Connectivity is excellent with full signal availability and superb speech and voice clarity, even in a closed air conditioned railway compartment while talking even on an ISD call.Added to this is the excellent customer response and services.My only grouse against Airtel Delhi, Prepaid Magic connection is the non availabilty of Full roaming in all parts of india and the hassle of activation of roaming everytime when I go out of delhi by purchasing the Rs 50.00 roaming coupon.Airtel Delhi should offer the Same roaming terms on prepaid schemes that they offer to their post paid customers.Apart from this their is no negative aspect on Airtel Delhi’s services.

I had recharged with Rs 3000 with One Year Validity on 07-05-2003 which expired on 06-05-2004. When checking the Website nowhere it was mentioned that Balance Carry Forward of Old Unused Balance was possible only if Recharged with 15 days of end of old Validity Scheme. Validity was mentioned as 90 days. Hence I thought that Balance C/f could be done in 90 days hence I forgot to recharge and in 15 days my Rs 700 Balance was gone. After this I junked my Airtel Prepaid After November 2004 and opted for MTNL Dolphin SIM in which I have not faced a single problem till date.

Another Example: If one wants to learn about the Bonus Cards like Rate Cutters, SMS packs, Data packs etc one has to 1st enter the Mobile Number and then only this info is displayed as opposed to Vodafone which just asks you to enter the Zone and displays all that u need to know about it’s plans etc.
When I saw the no of complaints on Airtel in the last 12 years in terms of un-requested VAS Activations, Excessive Data Billings, and NIL Tower Inside my Residential Complex, and Quality of Network in Shambles, I have now concluded that Airtel has become an Unethical, Greedy, Non-Transparent GSM Operator in Delhi NCR Region who only wants to loot people’s money without providing them good service. The Latest form of looting is the 4G Girl AD’s and Open Network Initiative.
See, I may not have any high expectations from MTNL Dolphin network, being a very casual user i.e using Rs 50 talk value in 6 months & it being Govt PSU giving GSM Service at a annual loss of 1800 crores and pardon it for failed sms delivery or call drops and by using it’s service I am doing a certain form of Charity but the same cannot be accepted from Airtel.
This is my Opinion! In Terms of Transparency Other than MTNL Dolphin, Vodafone is equally Good in Delhi NCR & I never faced any problem since 2013.
My Advise is that if one’s is a very serious smart phone user, then Don’t opt for MTNL Dolphin Delhi NCR as u will not be satisfied with it’s service. It is only meant for simple phone 2G users.
