I am a proud user of Airtel mobile network except that they have this unidentified habit of stealing consumers money. Under usual circumstances a single message which exceeds 160 characters are normally billed as 2 messages. Airtel has the only unique idea to bill the consumer 5-10 times. This has happened to me thrice so far last year. My balance runs out and immediately I get a message from Airtel that as per TRAI regulations I have exceeded the lit of 200 messages in a day! and I cannot send any more messages until 12 PM.
I have attached my complaint mail on which(obviously) nothing happened.

Dear customtakeouter service,
I had contacted the airtel customtakeouter service to enquire why I was being billed 5 times for a message over 160 characters. None of the two gentlemen who attended my call where able to even attempt answering my issue.
One wanted me to change my handset immediately and transferred my call to a non existent supervisor where the line was ringing continuously for 5 minutes until I decided to disconnect the call.
Second one assured that I was wrong and and told me that such a problem was unheard of in airtel. Both were hell bent on disconnecting my call.
I am still left wondering where the problem exists and would have been happy if the associates had taken one moment to listen and could have redirected my call to technical dept. I would like to request assistance thru mail from your side for my complaint as it has proven worthless to call airtel customtakeouter care directly.
Regards
Anuradha
