Worst of the worst service provider in the world

In the year 2005 I took a prepaid connection of Airtel in Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh). There was no problem for around 2-3 months. Then one day a representative of Airtel came to me and asked me to change my connection to Post-paid. The plan that offered me was very attractive.  The calling charges on one Airtel number were free. I took it without any hesitation. My fiancée was also having airtel connection, so I gave her no in my free calling list.

Now, all my problems started thereafter. When the bill came after one month, I was shocked to my nerves to see a big amount! I enquired about this in the local Airtel office. They kept me running from head office to all the local offices in Bhopal till I decided not to pay my bill. Nobody was ready to tell me why I got such a huge bill. The mistake I did was that I had no copy of my documentation(Please keep all documents with you even if the representative of the company tells you that he’ll give u after some days). I came to know that I was added in a wrong PLAN and now I am switched to the PLAN I’ve choosen. But the company was not ready to compansate for my losses.

Then one day I caught the person who has done my registration, He refused to recognize me at all. See, the professionalism of the company that no one is ready to take the responsibility of the mistake they have done. From the call center they keep on giving me the "dhamki"  to submit the bill otherwise “Dekh lenge”

I didn’t pay my bill and here I made a mistake. I should have gone to the consumer forum. I wish I had done the copies of my docs.

Then one bad day, some “gundaas” came to home and negotiate some half of the bill amount after a lot of argument.

The lesson I got from this:

1.       Never pay in advance till you get the complete documents.

2.       Whenever there is any problem related to services, always go to consumer forum.

3.       Last but not the least; first check the reputation of company in the market.

Regards,

Akash
