My hubby had an Airtel connection which he terminated ages ago. He called up Airtel requesting for receipt of the refundable deposit. The staff at Airtel gave all sorts of excuses like we will post the cheque to you or we will return the money back to you soon etc. However, till date there has been no response from them. Its been like almost a year now since the connection was terminated.
What are these people trying to do?
Why cant they just pay their customers back the deposit amount?
Or are they just swindling customers money?
There is no point in advertising on tv/radio or through banners on the streets if their customer service is lousy.
On another occasion, I sent them a mail on the ringtones etc and that too was some ages ago. If they are gonna continue doing this, then there is no point in having an e-mail address. I think they are just least bothered with the customers and more interested in collecting money. Thats it!
Has anyone experienced the same? If so, how do you go about lodging a complaint with the consumer act etc?
