Airtel-Kolkata opinion

I earlier had Airtel Magic Prepaid card. Later I converted the same sim card to Rs.150 plan Postpaid, as I wanted to keep the same no. It was only a form to be filled. Customer Care was very helpful and did the work promptly without any additional deposit. Advt mentioned Rs.150 per month, but it is actually Rs.175 per month.Rs.25 extra is for Calling Line Identification.

With trai repeatedly creating confusing in the Air for tel rates, I am totally confused of the rates and roaming. All of a sudden I received a bill of Rs.1234/-!Just a few weeks back they announced free roaming or roam at cheaper rate(whatever... we all were confused), and I thought finally we can receive incoming during roam without tension..........forget it.</>

Airtel or any mobile is still costly, and one should stick to landline for outgoing calls. As for incoming, most hesitate to call as calling to a Mobile is costly.</>

Network is good and voice clarity too. But there are problems sometimes that I lose network inside the building. Roaming network quality is also good.</>

I had a taste of both Postpaid and Prepaid. I think we all should stick to Prepaid, if outgoing calls can be managed to the landline.
