My name is Dinesh Arora. I am using Airtel postpaid number 9872835136 from the past 7 or 8 years now. Few years ago I got a call from someone at airtels end that I will be charged Rs.50 for the paper bills. I was not getting the paper bills regularly from their side so I gave my consent for the ebills. But I never got the ebills regularly either. I used to get one or two bills in a quarter. I had so much trust in airtel that I used to pay the bill by looking at the monthly bill text. But here is where they have looted me. Many plans were activated and deactivated without my consent and some of them are still activate.
Currently active plans-
- Gupshup Plan- Rs.150/- per month
Basic plan. Fine. But their customer care executive wasnt able to explain even one benefit of this plan. How idiotic is that? Their customer care executive said that this plan was activated on 5th December, 2013.
- Clip Charges-Rs 25/- per month
Their customer care executive said that this plan was activated on 5th May, 2007. He also said that this plan displays the name of the caller on your screen rather than his or her number. How did airtel invent this technology back in 2007? Keep in mind True Caller came into existence in 2010. And also back in 2007 the Symbian, Android or Ios devices were not that much developed that they can use a facility like that. My simple handset didnt get any kind of the said benefit. This service was activated without my consent
- 1000 minutes STD- Rs500/- per month
Their customer care executive said that this plan was activated on 31st January, 2014. I never game my consent for this service.
- 1000 minutes STD- Rs500/- per month
Their customer care executive said that this plan was activated on 19th March, 2014. I never game my consent for this service.
Lets for a second say that I did. Then how did airtel activated the same service on the same number again?
On bills, of the few which I have got, in front of one of the above 2 plans the year mentioned is 2013. So, I guess their customer care executive was wrong in giving me the details.

Their customer care executive said that this plan was activated on 7th June, 2013. I never gave my consent for this service.
The interaction id for the call with the customer care executive is 1659078258.
I want airtel to first of all deactivate the last 4 services with immediate effect. Give me in writing how these were activated without my consent. And issue me a refund for the same.
The roughly total of the amount that they have looted from me over these years is more than Rs.15, 000.
I request you to kindly look into this matter.
