I had lost my SIM card on 4th March and called the customer care asking for replacement. They said they’ll send a representative to provide the replacement. After 9 days 7 phone calls and an escalation later, I’ve not got my replacement card yet. Every time I call they provide silly reasons like there was a "System fault", "SIM card shortage", "Executive not available at that time". If its impossible for airtel to send an executive, it should’ve told in the beginning and not make me wait for 9 days. I waited this long because I had this number for nearly 8 years. If airtel can lie to and not value long term and loyal customers like me then "Best of luck" for the new ones.

Update: Went to the customer relationship center on Tuesday and stood in queue for 40mins and got my SIM. The executive there told me that it’ll take 24hrs to activate it. Its already Thursday and still its not activated. Clearly visiting the center is also not a solution to a problem called airtel!!!
