I am holding an Airtel mobile post paid connection for last 10 years. I also hace two add-on number for last 5 years. Their customer service is atrocious. Till the time you dont need customer service, you may feel happy that you opted for Airtel. However if you have a need to utilize their Customer Service, you are in for a lot of frustration and dis-service. Most pf their operators are Zoombies who does not understand any ones problems with Airtel service.
They speak only one language and its extremely difficult for one to make them understand your issues. I am trying to cancel one of my add-on connection and Airtel is avoiding it for last 2 months on one pretext or the other. Sitting in their offices, of their own, they will close your case reporting that everthing is sorted out. I am now thinking to use portability option to settle my long pending demand of cancellation of one of my add-on number.
Beware, DO NOT OPT FOR POST PAID connections of Airtel as you may find difficult to GET RID of it later. Thanks
