Maddening SMS - Irritating services

Has anyone using this mobile network experienced a day without receiving a promotional SMS or call. I receive upto 10 SMS’s per day and get calls from unknown banks, gyms, credit card companies and security services requesting to listen to them for just 5 minutes of our valuable time.


Where is the privacy, and how can you trust a service which is probablly sellingyour number to bans and other company BPO’s. if I have a bank account in a particular bank it is justified they call my number to inform about their services. but I am receiving calls from all banks and financial institutions. it is very irritating to get a call at 3pm(disturbing the noon siesta of course) asking you very gracefully whether I am free to talk for few minutes.


I had to return the same graceful gesture by saying " if it is about credit or debit cards p off". already owning a mobile device has taken away 3/4 th of our freedom as it follows where ever we go, its like carrying your burden even in your sleep. now their operators for their part torture us with these promotional activities, which might be beneficial for them but not definately to the customer. and to top it all their customer service is always busy 24/7 :(
