One of the worst mobile operator services provided in India.
First of all, call quality is not good as expected in Assam. Call drops are so frequent that it becomes annoying. Sometimes I have to call 10-15 times to make a single call. Also calls get disconnected a number of times while having an important conversation with your friends.
In Assam only selected areas’ users get strong signals. As you go away to some inward villages, signal of Airtel is almost not available.
They say that Airtel gives the fastest 4G data connection in India. But I would say it is the slowest one. Because my internet speed never crosses more that 100kBps.
Customer Care services are the worst part. Once I recharged certain value added services pack that was suppose to provide certain benefits for 1 month. After 2 weeks they changed benefits in my recharge and thus reduced the number of offer days. When I lodge a complaint in customer care helpline, I was abused and they even recommended me to use mobile operator services.
Also price of data packs are the costliest one. Once there was a time they charged Rs 249 for 1GB of data and Rs 349 for unlimited calls for a duration of 1 month.
