I am using Airtel prepaid which I took primarily for internet purposes. Since last one year the service has deteriorated like anything. The signal quality is very bad..! Can you imagine, sometimes the signals are not available for more than 5-10 minutes.. and when there is important call, all of a sudden, the signal is gone and u are left frustrated...
I made several complaints to Airtel that in my area signals are very bad .. but there was no response... even after written complaints...Hay are you listening Airlet people.... and to add more fuel to the fire, they reduced internet speed to less than 15 kbps and enhanced prices from 7 Rs/day to 15 Rs per day.. an increase of 100% in price .... and a decrease of 100000% in quality..... I am too frustrated...........actually all my friend circle using Airtel are frustrated....
One more thing, abt airtel customer care centre that you can talk to them only 5 times in a period of 24 hours!!! Whenever u want to talk to them, signal is out while u are in que and u have to again call.. and after 5 trials, you cannot call to them............ what a "good" kind of service...!!
Any way I got a solution ... I switched to MTNL Dolphin .. now I am deeply satisfied and stopped using Airtel.. actually shifted my Airtel sim to my old mobile phone set ...... THE SCRAP SIM IN SCRAP PHONE..... not is a good company................
As my sim is life time one, probably I will be the first person to change it to better service once number portability is implimented in Mumbai..... Hope, you are listening Airtel...!!!!
