I am a airtel customer for the last 3 years. In october 2007 I paid my postpaid bill of Rs.500, for which I received a confirmation in my next bill. In the month of December 2007 I started receiving calls asking me to make the payment for the bill issued in October 2007 for which I had already made the payment and also received the confirmation. Even though I repeatedly gave them the details of the payment, the time, location and also the transaction ID, the calls did not stop.
I even mailed to the NODAL OFFICER, mentioning the payment details, BUT NO REPLY. Subsequently, my outgoing calls were barred without notice.
I E-Mailed the NODAL OFFICER again, hinting that I would go to the consumer court. SURPRISE SURPRISE! AGAIN NO REPLY WHAT SO EVER!
Finally, fed up of the pathetic customer support, I made a repeat payment(DAYLIGHT ROBBERY) because I am not in a position to change my mobile number. After making the payment, it took approx 15 to 20 calls and 6 days to release my out going calls. WHAT PATHETIC SERVICE!. this is not the end!
THE FUN STARTS NOW! HANG ON!
After my outgoing calls were released, exactly 10 days later i.e, on 25 th of JAn 2008, my out going calls were BARRED AGAIN!.ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHAT SO EVER! and when I called up 121, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS HAD NO CLUE! They assured me of a call back within 4 hours. Its been more than 30 hours and I have called customer service 4 times during these 30 hours. STILL NO CALL BACK!
I wish I could TALK TO MR. SUNIL BHARTI MITTAL and let him know that his AIRTEL IS DUMPS! ABSOLUTE TRASH!
I am waiting for the number portability bill to be passed. I will be the FIRST PERSON TO SHIFT TO VODAFONE OR RELIANCE once the bill is passed.

Conclusion, AIRTEL SUCKS BIG TIME! If this kind of pathetic service continues, Not a long time from now Mr.SUNIL BHARTI MITTAL should be looking for a new venture
