Yes, this has happened to me and I guess there a lot who is facing such
problems but not getting right platform to speak out the problems. I
found this is really helpful platform to speak out the problem. I have
been using Airtel service since a year. Sometimes I found wrong with
the service but avoided. But few days back when I made a call to UAE
for 2:58 mins. The deduction amount for that duration was 39.96 whereas
it should be Rs. 29.97 (3 mins. X Rs. 9.99).
Then and there I called Airtel customer care but they replied that it
will take 6 hrs. to get updated. Then I call again next and asked for
updated info. and they started saying that the call duration was 181
secs (3 mins 1 sec) according to their system. Now since I’m using
Nokia 6600, which offers the feature of call-duration display, hence I
got my call duration as 2:58 mins. Friends I really worked hard to earn
money and I don’t want anybody snatch it without reason. That’s why I
shared the bad experience with Airtel and their services right here. I
also had another number with Airtel but discontinued coz of their
horrible services. And soon I will be discontinuing this one as well.
