So, I had 33 rupees in my Airtel money.I was in the process of paying my Post paid bill of 779 rupees.
The app said, "You can get 5% cash back on your bill.
And there was this’BIG BLUE BUTTON" which said "TAKE ME THERE".
Who doesnt want to save money? Right ? So, merrily I clicked that button. ALAS.No 5% cashback. I tweeted to Airtel(As I always do to get better service response. Airtel exec called me promptly and said "5% is only for bills over 1000 rupees.But that clause was no where to be found when I clicked that button.He said it is in Terms & conditions.
So, the devil is in the detail.I ended up not using my Airtel money too.Have to be very careful with companies with connections in the power centers I guess. Dont get dissuaded by their commercials.This company is one to be avoided like plague.
