I have been using four postpaid numbers from Airtel since 2003. All the numbers are almost 5-6 years old and I have used them at my same house I am living at now. All numbers are on ADVANCE RENTAL plans and 3 of them have 1 year subscription remaining.
Since last month, I AM FACING a peculiar problem of network coverage and none of my numbers is working at my home. When at home, I cant dial nor recieve calls on any of the four airtel numbers.
Please note that all other networks are working fine there viz. Aircel, Hutch, Tata... (tested these). I put first complaint on 8th September and nothing was done. On 15th september again AIRTEL asked me to wait till 30 Sep 2009 for resolution of this issue - saying that their network team will visit my home.
PRETTY SAD, I have never received a single call back from AIRTEL in last one month and I am desperately making complaints one after another. I am almost unreachable at home because I have no other number than AIRTEL.
- *I have recorded the conversation of 3 customer care executives admitting that my area has been
recognized as weak signal area (I have been using airtel at same area since last 6 years without a
problem).*
- *I have a mail chain with 121@airtelindia.com wherein they are making false promises and not
giving any satisfactory reply. They admit their network weakness now at my place.
PLEASE TELL ME : If Airtel takes another 2 months to fix this issue, will I have to go without a mobile. I dont wanna change my number because I have already paid in advance for them, and secondly the numbers are very old.
and PLEASE SUGGEST how can I move consumer forum with this issue. I have almost 10 complaint reference numbers in last one month.
