Just a week after meeting up with an accident and scratching her hands and fracturing her leg she gets an offer to act opposite Michael Douglas. The official announcement of this is still on hold though.
Her recent releases in hindi were’Kyon! Ho gaya na?’, ’La se amritsar tak’ and’raincoat’. All three bombed not just in box office with the audience too. As it goes in a Metalica number -’ANGELS DESERVE TO DIE.’
Ash is in dire straits as she does need a super hit now. I think it is time she comes back to doing good bolly films rather than being charecterized in holly films that dont even pass the muster test. When Ash made her debut with JEANS she was termed a beauty but a bad actress. She changed this reputation by showcasing her talent in movies like Hum dil De chuke sanam, Devdas, Taal and many more. But she has begun to get the reputation now of running away from bollywood. A reputation that needs immediate correction.
Being an Indian, her dialogue delivery is being mocked at. Are such ignominies worth it? I am not criticizing ASH for entering hollywood. I am criticizing her for the steps she has taken to reach there.
If ASH continues the same way her stocks are certain to go down in INDIA.
