Aitraaz - poor copy of a good story

When I was watching the movie , I came to realize that the movie seemed to be based on Michael Crichton’s novel - Disclosure . I was expecting something great from Abbas-Mastan known for giving great thrillers . But , to my disappoint the movie turned out to be a total low level Indian copy of Disclosure .

The stroy goes like this .

Akshay Kumar is working in a Company . Then suddenly out of nowhere Priyanka Chopra comes as his new boss who is fed up of his old boss Amrish Puri . When Akki refuses to have relationships with her , she charges him of sexual abuse .

Obviously , the story outline seems new and fresh , but the director has failed miserably to handle such a sensitive and delicate issue of charge of sexual abuse of women against men . The movie seems to be nowhere near the novel and all the main ingredients of the novel are missing , may be because of insufficent funds .

Also , the only motive of Priyanka Chopra to have sexual relationships with Akshay makes no sense . The songs , which could have saved ’Aitraaz ’ are no good and they seem only to drag the movie . Akhay Kumar is simply wasted , and the other two stars Priyanka and Kareena couldn’t do justice to their roles . Overall , movie is just a waste of time and money . Watch it , if you have both !
