The Aiwa HS-PS 13 is the most basic, the most down to earth walkman models I may have ever seen.I got this walkman free as a gift from Shoppers Stop as I had shopped over Rs.1500, and I was happy...one more good thing about shoppers stop!.
The walkman was very brightly coloured, with the buttons being light silver and the casing bright orange.The headphones, luckily came in normal jet black.The headphones from Aiwa were not so good, so I used the headphones from my Sony Sports! model, which created excellent effects when the ’’mega bass’’ feature was been utilised.
The Aiwa HS-PS 13 walkman is basically designed for the budget buyer.It provides normal functions such as rewind, FF and a ’’mega bass’’ feature for that extra effect...all just for Rs.600/-(Shoppers Stop says so).I know that today’s consumers are more demanding in features, and walkman’s themselves are being obsoleted as CD Walkmans are taking over, but for the person still not rich, but wants to enjoy some good music in privacy...the Aiwa HS-PS 13 is the model for him.
