First I will tell you about the bad because I dont want anyone to leave with a bad impression of this player. It is a little confusing. There are some buttons that could confuse someone with absolutely no technological intuition. But it isnt that hard to figure out and Im sure that anyone, with a little time, can figure this out.
I wanted a respectible company so that I would have someone to call for support if I ever needed it. I didnt want to buy one made by Billy Bobs House of Cd players. Aiwa is definitely a respectable company.
Hmm...how about the price. 79 dollars...sounds good to me! There were some other ones there for like $100 or more. I wanteed one that would last so I didnt want to buy a $10. So $79 is a good price to pay for quality.
What about the skip protection? I want a lot because I like to listen in the car and on my bike and stuff. This one offers 40 seconds which is almost the best you can buy. You can also use 10 seconds or none if you are just listening at home. This is a good option if you want to save battery.
The player also came with a car hook up option. So I can put it into any tape player and listen to it through speakers anywhere.
So over all this is a great cd player. I use it all the time everywhere I go. If you like to listen to music then this is the cd player for you. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quality portable cd player.
