This movie is too good
Ever since the movie’s advertisement came out, I was extremely curious how Neeraj Pandey, a director I have always found relevant treat such a virgin territory in Indian cinema, Military Intelligence to be precise.Now if your perception of Intel related films are grown out of Bond or Bourne films, or Tiger series closer home you should go for it as it follows the the most important rule of any Intel operation: -secrecy & subtlety.And not once in the whole film have the director or the cast strayed from.For the un-initiated the progress will seem cumbersome & at times unrelatable because it’s supposed to for civilians like us.But this film has successfully handled huge aspects of an Intel officer’s life & work procedure.You will go through a whole list of scams that will be raised in this movie so brush up your 1) Adarsh housing scam, 2) Tatra Vetra Truck Controversy, 3) TSD & alleged coup attempt, all during the tenure of General V.K. Singh.The film revolves around Manoj Vajpayee & Siddharth Malhotra, both doing their jobs well, more so the latter as former has always been a master of this art.Also some interesting cameos from Anupam Kher & Naseeruddin Shah.There were a few mistakes, but they were excusable entirely being a Bollywood movie.A film that needs a bit of effort watching but worth it all the way.
