Aiyaary released in february 16, 2018 which was directed by Neeraj Pandey.Story was also written by Neeraj Pandey.It’s a story of a army person who turns rogue to reveal corruption of Indian army.This film has some great stars like Siddharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah but the story was not that kind of promising and exciting.Neeraj Pandey directorial has failed to excite the audience.
Let’s talk about the plot.Actually the theme of the story is not new.The base of the movie was Indian army’s corruption .We saw these type of movies recently.I think it’s not that kind of big problem because the story was not totally same, the real problem was suspense, thrill these things were missing .We can see a special squad in the movie .Their every mission was secret.Manoj Bajpayee is the leade of that squad and Siddharth Malhotra is a bright, honest soldier of that squad.By checking some drive Siddharth find out that they don’t work for the country or people .They help a corrupt officer’s group to make money.So, he decides not to help them by sacrificing their lives.He decides to reveal their true identity.But Manoj Bajpayee doesn’t get his point, so he tries to find that rogue soldier and kill him.This is the whole plot, running, searching, revealing
Manoj Bajpayee is awesome in these type of characters we all know that.In this movie he also showed his capability.
This is the first time Siddharth has done this type of role.I won’t say he did a excellent job, it’s just he did good.Rakul Preet didn.t get so many scenes.As always, heroine was not that kind of important in the story.She did her part pretty well.
Rochak kohli and Ankit tiwari was in music.I think Lae dooba song was pretty good.But I must say Sanjoy Chowdhury did a great job in background score
Cinematography was average.Not that good, not that bad.No one would be so glad with the cinematography
So, lastly I have to say after watching the trailer I really expected a lot more than this.Aiyaary really failed it’s expectation level
