Raj Kumar Santoshi has given the audience a comical flick after a long time. A long time has passed since Andaz Apna Apna. I had a lot of expectations for this movie but I am not completely satisfied with this movie. The comedy quotient was very low and the script too was weak. The songs are a saving grace for this movie.
The story revolves around Prem and Jenny. Prem is a simple, unsuccessful and good at heart guy. He has a knack of helping people and often gets into problems for his helping nature. Prem has a club named "Happy Club" and is the self proclaimed president of the club. His father who owns a restaurant is upset with him because he feels his son is wasting his time and not doing anything fruitful. The scenes between father and son are very funny.
Prem discovers that Jenny is in love with someone else. He decides to help her so that she marries her boyfriend Rahul (Upen Patel). Prem also rescues her from goons who kidnap her and hold her for ransom. In the end Jenny realises that Prem is the one who loves her truly and gets married to him.
Honestly guys what’s so GHAJAB about this kahani? Barring some of the funny scenes this movie fails to impress. If you miss this flick do not get disheartened guys.Even Katrina Kaif did not look hot in this movie. Ranbir’s performance is commendable but he could not do much as the script was not strong enough. If someone is desperate enough to kill time then go ahead and watch this movie!
