As there are many different brands available for every product, So I decided to order a new pair of shoes for my casual use. So I downloaded their app from the play store and registered into the app which was very easy to do. I had decided to buy my favorite Adidas shoes cause they are very comfortable, flexible, fit and looks are simply great. There were hundreds of shoes to choose from. They had many different designs and features for every new shoe. Finally, I found the best pair of shoes which I wanted, which were the ‘Grand Court Base Lace-Up Shoes’ which cost me about 2558rs. The product’s original price was 4599rs but I got the product all including taxes with a discounted price of 2518+ the delivery charges were of 40rs equals to 2558rs which was affordable for me. In detail, they told me that the product had a 3-month warranty and features like the rubber sole, lace fastening, the upper material were synthetic and the product code was 460680008001. I ordered the product on 25.11.2020 and the expected delivery date was 28.12.2020 which didn’t happen.
When the date 28thDec 2020 arrived I saw the track shipment where I saw that the order created was on the date 25th Nov 2020 and shipped on 27th Nov 2020 but didn’t show any status of Out of Delivery. The day past but the delivery wasn’t here So I contacted the customer support service where they politely asked me for the order ID and product name and told me to wait till he checks the status. He later said that the problem will be solved within 24 hrs. The next day I received a message where they said “Hi! While there is, unfortunately, a delay in your AJIO order with ID, We hope to deliver it within the next 2 business days. Really sorry about this! Once our courier delivery person is out for delivery with the package, we will notify you.” I was frustrated but preferred to not lose my cool.
On date 1.12.2020 I received a message which in short said that your product is Out for Delivery. The product was delivered at 5 pm in the evening. When I unboxed the item and checked my shoes then I would like to say that the product quality was great and looked the same as shown in the picture. I liked the product very much.
My all over experience was that the product quality, App and Customer Support were really useful and great but the delivery timeliness lacked very much. I always said that every online store should respect the customers time where Ajio lacked a lot. Ajio needs work on their delivery issues.
