I was just going through this site and I found out that there were no reviews on Ajman. So I thought I shall share with you what ever knowledge I have.
Ajman like Dubai / Sharjah is one of the emirates of UAE. It is a very small city. Iam little bad with numbers so kilometres wise I amnot sure but if you are asking me the time, it will take at least 30 to 40 min to reach Ajman. Location wise it is on the western coast of UAE.
It is cheaper than Sharjah and Dubai. Development wise it is not too commercialized.. More of residential areas. Though it has mordern facilities and the education system is good, they still give importance to conservation and preservation of the traditional way of life. But that does not mean you willnot see sophisticated people.. It is a blend.
Business wise industry wise.. Ajman offers low cost of production compare to abudhabi or dubai.
You can see the ajman beach.. Though all the beaches are same but the reason for being attractive would be the cleaniless. Every wednesday nights/thrusdays nights, families collect there and barbeque there.. Also it provides good facilities for swimming and bathing.
One can visit the Ajman Souk ( Souq is an Arabic Word which means Market).The architecture is an ancient one. Very impressive and good inspiration to those love architecture. You can also see the shopping centre called Cairefour.
Apart from the city, places like Masfoot and Manama would be good to visit since that place is famous for agriculture farming. The important heritage in Ajman is the fortress which was built in the 18th century and now it stores the Ajman Museum. Ajman is not so rich like Sharjah or Dubai.But nowadays there are givind importance to the development and commercializing it.
Weather is like any other emirate , hot during summer, chill during the winter. But when visiting UAE make sure u visit this place. One day is more than enough.
