Ajmer is famous for Dargah of khawaja Moinuddin chisti. The most important fact about the Dargah is that it is being visited by Hindu and Muslims both. Ajmer is the major centre for Muslim pilgrims, during the fast of ramzaan many muslim people’s comes all around the world to join the URS festival. I visited ajmer 2 years back with my family. We also visited this mosque it has great architecture, we also visit the market outside the mosque.
The city was neat and clean. It is easily accessible, because it is well connected by road and train. Ajmer has many places to visit and we visited there Taragarh fort which was located on hilly area. We visited the artificial lakes, Ana sagar lake and Foy sagar lake.
We also visited Nasiyan jain temple, the temples is aslo a major attraction of ajmer city, which is known as lal mandir it’s architecture was superb. It’s Adhai-din-ka-jhonpra was nice, it is a mosque with a mix of indo-muslim architecture. All the places were fabulous.we also visited pushkar lake there we saw a temple of lord Brahma. There are many hotels and resorts available for accommodation. Overall nice place to visit. Whenever you make trip to ajmer then don’t miss the above mentioned place.
