I went Ajmer through Farakka Express Train. It took 8 hours from Old Delhi Station. Dargah Shareef was about 1 Km from Ajmer station and took 8 minutes with rikshaw. It was highly crowded place and easily accessible with Rickshaws all day and night.It was a beautiful religious and historical place located on market road. There was a Dargah of sufi saint of Ajmer Sharif and his daughter. There are also so many Dargahs of different different Sufis. There was a beautiful lake about 1 Km from Dargah in north made by Akbar, in which I did boating and enjoyed picnic. That place was awesome and beautiful with large mountains.There were so many hotels and guest house on the way to Dargah. Also there were rooms provided by Railways. Hotels are cheap and fare of one night accommodation ranges from rs 900 to 3000. I accommodated in IRCTC’s guest house, service was good and loaded with full comfort.There were so many tourist guides who can cause problem but place was controlled by sewadars and police officials. Some sewadars in Dargah tried to loot tourists on the name of religious ceremony. This is a negative point.Overall it was a nice and good place to visit.
