After watching Akshaye Khanna in Dil Chahta Hain, I knew here is an actor who can emote exceptionally. He started from Taal, his role was nothing outstanding but Akshaye executed the sheer optimism that Manas lives with really well. Though a not great dancer, he has a great screen presence. As a painter in Dil Chahta Hain, he underplayed his character really well. He has done complete justice to the role.
Even in Humraaz, he had done a good job with negative role. In Hulchul, though he did best for his role the movie couldn?t do very well.
Akshaye Khanna, from his interviews, appears a philosophical man who is a modest and down-to-earth artist. He has the best new comer of the year award to his credit for his performance in Border during Filmfare 97’ award. He is a versatile actor who needs to choose his movies more cautiously.
