if your percentage is above 60%, then i suggest all of you to not take admission in alfalah school of engineering and technology. This is the worst college in haryana. Don’t go with the placement data or the age of the college, this will just distract your mind ( like what happens to me before taking admission there ).
everything is fraud. There is no on campus placement. Only about 10 - 12 % students cleares the off campus placement every year and the rest find the jobs with their own efforst or starts further study. So please don’t believe in their placement data at all.
The college is located in a village called dhauj. Which is a very low profile place and the local students rules in the college. No one from the administration, including faculty can touch them. The college also says in their pamphrets and booklets that the college is located just 16 km from badarpur border, that is their another fraud. Actually, the college is located 27 km from badarpur border and the roads to the college are in very bad condition.
hostel is not located in the campus. It takes about 40 minutes to reach hostel from the college campus. A rented house is used as hostells in faridabad. In which 3 students per room lives. ( 50000/year)
Now, i will tell you about college infrastructure. Building is pretty good, i can say its average. But when you enter the classrooms, it looks like same as the govt. School’s classrooms. Broken glasses, cheaply white washed walls and broken desks and many more.
wash rooms are spoiling and stinking all the time. No toilet has flushes in working condition. Wall plaster is broken even wash basin is also in bad condition.
canteen: a cheap dhaba food is even better than the alfah canteen’s food. The canteen staff always spits gutkas, supari etc. Around the canteen including inside of the canteen. Dogs moves there all the time and feeds on the plates after the students have gone. I can’t say that the food is not good, it tastes average but i m not sure about its hygene. In snacks, you will get only bingo and in drinks, there is only pepsi, mirinda and mountain dew. Samosas and bread pakodas are also there which are not good in taste. Only hostellers eats this thali free of cost for them, because they do not have any other option.
students : only about 10-15 % students in a class are above 60% in their 10+2 exams
Majority of students is from bihar, then u.p, then haryana and then from okhla( near jamia milia islamia in delhi ) rest 5-6 students in a class are from other parts of delhi. Many of the students are the relatives of the chairman and in contacts with other faculty members and pays less fee than others ( 69000 - 74000 per annum + rs 5000 for notes in first year ).
They always asks silly and stupid questions to the faculty in the class room.
safety of students: their is no safety for students or even for the faculty. Anyone can slap teachers in the class room and in place of any action, a fine of some rs is charged against that student. Sometimes, some guys comes to your classroom and beats you in front of the teacher and take you out.
Even girls are not safe in the capmus, senior boys always passes comments on them while they are going somewhere and asks them to talk with them.
Sometimes, locals of haryana stops the buses in the way and take the person out and beats him because of not doing what they said. All, in front of faculty members, they cann’t do anything. Instead of helping the student, college administration tries to supress the incidents.
The chairman of the college has spent many time in jail because of some frauds in the college funds and govt. Taxex.
