Rates vary from season to season...Probably these rates can be bargained depending on the occupancy ratio...No bargaining during Christmas and New Year Eve...The rich can definately loosen their kitty at Radisson - 5 Star Hotel with Spa...
Otherwise the people can stay at good and cheap lodges like Ramakant Hotels, Lilak Hotel, Hotel Ruchi Tarang, Ruchi Tarang will serve good typical maharashtrian brahmin tpe food, Lilak for good Non Veg food (probably the best in Allibag) and Ramakant for good south indian snacks and avg food...
The best option will be good breakfast at ramakant, lunch at ruchi tarang and have a great drinks and non veg food at lilak...The day you arrive at evening can be utilized for refreshing yourself at Alibag beach...Enroute people can have delicious wada pav / dal wada on the lorry of NENE..
However, it depends on high tide timing as to whether you will enjoy the beach or not...Time permitting and resources like ghoda gadi you can visit colaba fort approx 1 km from alibag beach....Second day in morning you can visit murud janjira fort...good temples enroute of lord ganesha, datta mandir, etc...Spend the day and return to kasid (you would pass via kasid to murud)...Excellent beach...
Pls enjoy without spoiling the nature earths beauty must be our motto at the beach....You will get only maggie, coconut water and tea at kasid beach...People can come back by night and leave the same day...Those staying back can spend the other day morning at kihim...That would be all...Recommeded for couples and students...
