This is a great movie about the relation between a Father and a Son ( Ali) and about the ambition of The Father to make his Son a great Doctor.
Sister of Ali named Zehra was forcefully sent to Pakistan by His Father for her safety during the time of India Pakistan Partition.
When she become an old women she come back to India and took Ali out of Madrasa and sent him to a Modern Convent School.
Then Ali, Muslim Madrasa Kid was shifted from his Madrasa to a Convent School and faces a lot of challenges there.
Rest of the Movie is about Ali’s challenges in new environment, his father’s desire about him and Zehra’s distress.
This Movie named Alif gives us also about the need and importance of Education.
