Well, My self Prince Raj and today I am going to write or share my view on one of the nearest cinema or theatre from my home as an resident of north Delhi gtb nagar . Alpana Cinema, Model Town . As I used to live in Gtb nagar which is very close to model town, last year I visited this multiplex to watch Sultan starrer Bollywood’s one of the biggest superstar Salman Khan’s movie sultan. as we all know that alpana Cinema is not a multiplex it’s simple theatre it wasn’t the awesome feeling.
Well coming to the cinema hall, its reachable to people living in north delhi . as it is located opposite police station, ring road model town, new delhi 11009 . This cinema hall is 30 years old, and maintained great audience since last 3 decade but now it’s beauty is fading away in the era of pvr and multiplex it’s hard for single screen theatre to even survive . It can accommodate 200+ people at once and chair is not that comfortable and sound system is also not very good . The screen is also not very big and watching movie in alpana doesn’t give you feel of good as a multiplex screen . Well coming to the ambience that is atmosphere of alpana Cinema it’s not quite appreciable there is lot of rush some time some people entered hall fully drunk shouts at some scene and people who comes with family to watch it doesn’t find this activity right so they may disconnect as a audience to this theatre . And another major problem is it is also fully air conditioning and watching movie in hot weather wouldn’t be a good choice, albeit fans are running but it seems fans are not cleaned by a long time . If you had visited cinema hall with car it might lead you to little problem as there is very rush in parking slot .
Well at last I just would say only good part of the alpana cinema is that it is situated near North University which becomes Entertainment hub for lots of students of north campus .
