I went to shop at the Joy Allukas, Jayanagar branch, I took small studs for gifting purpose.
I filled a contact form, and they said it is mandatory for all new customers because I was new to Jayanagar Alukas CENTER
When I wanted to make payment by Card, the swiping machine did not work here due to network issue.
They then asked me to make the payment using the Phonepe app, and I did it. Because I paid the bill using phonepe, they asked me to show my ID proof, and asked me to fill the contact details again.
When asked why should I fill the contact details again as I had filled it already. They said that the first one was for a new contact/customer registration. The second one is because I made an online payment.
All this circus I did for a purchase of Rs.4000/-, and I was thinking if I had purchased a jewelry of worth 4, 00, 000/- they might have called the police for verification. LOL
