This is the first time Im writing a negative review about amazon. All these years Ive been actively encouraging people to switch to amazon.
But here is a insanely bad experience Ive had with amazon(And I am a amazon prime customer):
I ordered a Macbook Air and because I am a prime customer, I was promised that the product will be delivered the next day. I had no laptop to work and urgently needed it if not that day then on the next day at least.
But even after 3 days the product which had left a location near mumbai hadnt reached mumbai.
Seeing something as wrong, I cancelled it. And placed a fresh order.
Now, its been 20 days and my credit card due date is crossing and still amazon has not refunded the money back. And now they wont even respond to my emails. Every day they give me a 24 hour deadline and say that the refund will be processed by then.
This is a highly discouraging and irritating service theyve provided this time. And even though I wish I didnt say this, but I think its best to switch to flipkart. I was a loyal flipkart before, and I guess that was better.
Ill urge you to place all high value orders with flipkart or snapdeal, at least their returns arent this bad. And attt least someone takes responsibility of the mess ups.
