I recently placed an order on Amazon.in. While trying to reschedule the delivery, the courier guy refused to offer flexibility, and advised me to I contact the phone support.
The phone support people were not able to see the shipping/ billing address for India order. They insisted on sharing the US postal address filled in at the time of registered on US site.
As I did not remember the US address, I offered to share the Gurgaon address (shipping/ billing address of the current order) - they refused. They also refused to accept any other detail (e.g. order number, order details etc.) and insisted upon sharing the US address, which I did not remember. They suggested to me to log-in and check the address. When I tried to retrieve the address by logging in through mobile, the US address was not visible to me.
This conversation took almost 20 minutes, and it wasnt a pleasant experience.In comparison, Flipkart, etc. are much more friendly.
