I do a lot of online shopping and had bought stuff from Amazon.com also which I got imported. When Amazon.in setup shop like all indians we see another option then flipkart so bang on trust to it. Since the time they started market place model(which I personally never like, as seller tries to push their unusable/non-movable stuff many times), things are going wrong.
Recently I bought Rossmax MJ701f Blood Pressure Monitor ORDER # 402-3647114-8397142 on 4 July 2015, I wanted this particular model and was available on Amazon, and due to trust on this site, I bought after paying bit higher from other sites. To my dismay the product I received was of import date - march 2014; I got frustrated, but my need was bit high and I kept it after verifying the BP readings which were in sync with clinical results. After that I stopped ordering on Amazon. You may find my review for this product and seller in Amazon site, but Amazon buries seller reviews so underneath that finding them is next to impossible.
After 3-4 months I again took some courage and bought my trusted eneloop batteries and the required one I purchased long back on amazon and hence reordered those from them again, Panasonic BK-3MCCA4BA eneloop AA 2100 Cycle Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries, 4 Pack, ORDER # 403-9843240-7383567 on 26 Sep 2015; which arrived today and to my dismay again a 1 yr old import date of Nov 2014. I am really frustrated with this and hence the reason I am writing the review here so that everyone can see and know the tall claims of Amazon in their advertisement are nothing but making fool of customers. This time my need is not that big and will return those but it wastes my time and blocks my money which is loss of effort on my end.
Word of advice, If u have good shops in ur neighbourhood, buy there and forget e-sites till there is some regulation on them. As of now they allow returns easily but god knows in the lawless country of India when e-tailers change this and customers get stuck with them.
