I had ordered for a HP printer on 19-Apr-2014(Order No. 402-9381954-3046725). The estimated delivery date was shown as 26-Apr-2014. Today is 02-May-2014 and still there is no trace of the product!
Initial inquiries with Fedex revealed that they had not even received the package and the tracking number shown on the website was a farce. This tantamounts to cheating and fraud! Even after my daily follow ups over email, phone and chat no action has been taken by Amazon.
As there is no Escalation Procedure on the Amazon website, it leaves you completely helpless and in the hands of incompetent Amazon call center people who make false promises of getting back to you within 24 hours. There is no response to emails!
The Amazon website does not even have the option for a feedback where you can voice your concerns!
I am a regular online shopper and have shopped on most of the popular online stores. There were a few disputes but all of them were promptly resolved. I have never had such a harrowing experience, which I am having with Amazon now. I would advise all prospective buyers to refrain from buying any product from Amazon as they do not have any support service in place yet.
