I directly bought a merchandise from Amazon. recently a defective backup camera system for RV, then replaced it with a 2nd defective unit. The instructions were useless.
I mixed things up and made a one working unit and returned the non- working parts. I installed the unit on my RV, which involved drilling holes in the body. Then I discovered that the camera had a condensation problem that arose whenever I tried run the camera on for 15 seconds. I tries to contact the company which was inactive. Amazon at last agreed after repeated emails to replace the 2nd unit. When I sent it to amazon they charged me for the restocking fee.
This is a blatant fraud, as the unit was defective. Clearly amazon intends to send it to yet another victim. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. I replied to amazon that they were restocking it, but it bounced. I dispute the insufficient refund with the credit card company and have no doubts that the dispute will stick, given the circumstances. huge amount of time spent, phone calls over 1 hour. Many emails sent.
Avoid amazon and if you receive used merchandise instead of new one then return it immediately. Dont waste time to make it work.
